Lovestep was initially a variant of Dubstep (Post-Dubstep) in the late 2000s, from mid-2010s-present this music represent a more sophisticated and soft atmosphere Future Bass, characterized by the use of R&B-styled and soothing vocals, as well as smooth drops of the songs, using syncopated rhythmics, melodic and stripped down tooth saw-like waves bass sounds, and to a minor degree groovy basslines like in Nu-Disco, and the Trap (EDM) 808 drums.
